520 Kennels was established in 1981 by Charles and Nancy Eckel when they built this new facility as a professional kennel.  The facility incorporates all the ingredients necessary to provide for the health and safety of your pet.   The well landscaped property provides a beautiful setting for the care of your pet

In 2008, the Eckels sold the facility to Dave Belford and now Dave is the full-time manager of 520 Kennels bringing his 25 years of experience in kennel operations, professional dog training and breeding to the business.  Dave lives on site which provides 24/7 management of the kennel.

520 Kennels remains a family-run business with the welfare of your pet being our first priority.  We always provide the healthiest environment possible.  In fact, the Monmouth County Sheriff's Department has chosen 520 Kennels as the place to board their K-9 dogs when boarding is necessary.
